As a student, Jonathan received a number of academic honours, including the Galway Doctoral Research Fellowship, the Athenry Prize, and a Global Undergraduate Award. His research has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, and he has spoken at conferences in Ireland, the Netherlands, and USA. He has also lectured at both the University of Galway and Atlantic Technological University. He graduated from Dublin City University (DCU) with a BA (Joint Honours) in Law &amp; Spanish and an LLM, achieving first class honours. During his time at DCU, Sam served as Chairperson of the DCU Law Society and held the position of Academic Tutor during his LLM. Prior to commencing his traineeship, he worked as an Analyst at one of the world&#8217;s largest asset management firms in Toronto, Canada. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and European Financial Advisor (EFA) and is currently finishing an MSc. in Financial Services at University College Dublin (UCD). Katie was the Languages and Case Notes Editor of the 19th and 20th Editions of the Cork Online Law Review. Katie also served as the Conference Director of the UCC Law Society. Katie previously worked as a lawyer-linguist at the Court of Justice of the European Union. She earned a first class honours BCL (Law with Irish) and first class honours LLM (Law General), both from UCD. Kate achieved multiple academic scholarships and awards at both undergraduate and postgraduate level including the Doreen Fitzgerald Caprani Masters\u2019 Scholarship in Law (2023); the Law Programmes Scholarship Award for Academic Achievement (2020, 2021); and the Irish Language Residence Scholarship Award (2018, 2019). Previously, Kate worked as judicial assistant to the High Court of Ireland. Kate also tutors in UCD at undergraduate level in both Company Law and Criminal Law. She graduated with a first-class honour in BCL (Law with Economics) from University College Dublin in 2022, having completed a semester abroad at the University of Vienna. She received the UCD President\u2019s Award for her involvement in extracurricular activities such as mooting, debating, negotiation and Model UN. Additionally, she served as secretary of the 165th session of the L&amp;H. Vivienne has worked in a number of roles at UCD including a research assistant, law tutor and module facilitator. She also worked as a paralegal in the Litigation department at Maples and Calder. She is currently\u00a0volunteering as a project lead with Generation Climate Europe and has recently published a report on EU economic governance. Eoin was the Editor-in-Chief of the 18th Edition of the Cork Online Law Review and was awarded the Gold Medal for the \u2018Best Article by a UCC Student\u2019 in the 20th Edition. Louise works with leading global and domestic technology companies on a diverse range matters. Louise holds a certificate in Technology Law from the Law Society of Ireland; a certificate in Mediation from the Mediator Academy; and is a volunteer pro bono lawyer for Community Law &amp; Mediation. Louise has co-authored several articles published on Lexology. Prior to joining MHC, Louise worked as the sole legal case manager in the New York office of an industry leading US law firm. In this role, Louise managed several high-profile, multi-state class action lawsuits in the areas of discrimination and wage and hour violations. Louise holds a first-class honours degree in Law and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin (TCD).
