Since 1999, our Annual Lecture has become a staple event in the Irish legal calendar, at which topics of contemporary significance are discussed by a panel of distinguished guests. In recent years, the HLJ has been fortunate to welcome, among others, current Attorney General Paul Gallagher SC, former Chief Justice John Murray, Professor Colin Harvey of Queen’s University Belfast and Senator Michael McDowell SC as speakers at our Annual Lecture.
